The Right End of the Stick

EARLY AM
(late for me)

‘Thank God It’s Christmas’ – Queen

Bloody Queen song stuck in my head…

I’m at my Gran Pritchard’s in Chequerfield, Ponty.

We’ve all been out tonite (me, Flash, Elbow, Stan and Raquel) and I’ve just rolled in.  It was good, but it’s been a fucking funny day.  Hey, I’m not gonna lie: I fancy Raquel.

Now Flash and me talked about this earlier and he got the wrong end of the stick, I think.  No, I do fancy Raquel.  I’m not AFTER her, but I do fancy her.  I didn’t used to, but I do now.  And it’s not just lustful, it’s a bit more cerebral than that, emotional perhaps, yes, but more than merely physical.  I just bloody like her.  I’ll explain more perhaps when I’m not this pissed.  Look, I’ve fancied other people – and still DO fancy other people – a lot more than I fancy her, but I’m saying this so I don’t have to be a hypocrite, a liar, or a deceitful bastard.

See you.

Later:

‘Saviour’s Day’ – Cliff Richard

Our PONTEFRACT stay at Gran + Granddad Pritchard’s finished with a tea party featuring Gran + Granddad, Chip, Jack, Betty, Freddie, me, Martin, Violet, Kelly, and Toyah.
