Listening to The Jesus And Mary Chain.
For your information, I’ve been regularly wearing glasses for about a week and a half now. I don’t wear them all the time, just when I’m reading the blackboard at school or watching telly – so up yours, ugly!
Today, by the way, I tidied my new bedroom. Yes, my new bedroom. No more caravans for me for a while – it’s a bit too cold now. So I’m in my new room, which still needs to be painted and we’re using some scabby old curtains, but I’m officially living inside Blackberry Narrow now. I do miss the privacy, though. The bungalow is so small that my room opens directly into the lounge and the walls are very, very thin – not good for playing your music loudly (so thank god for headphones). Masturbation is another matter entirely.
Keir came down tonight. I think she’s stopped trying to stir things up and has decided to simply get on with being my friend. Good.
When she’d gone, I read through some of last year’s diary and thought about Mandy Dell. I actually got nostalgic for that time of my life – the music, living at the pub, the new friendships. I think that was when I first really started to make my presence known at Wetlands. Ah! Those were the days!

I also got this week's Spider-Man.

In town, I bumped into Mandy Dell, and after lots of long conversations we ended up kissing by the Tower Hall. They were good kisses. I now go out with her! I feel very Christmassy for some reason, and I’m tempted to write a Christmas novel.’
